Mid-Century Danish Teak Four-Drawer Chest, in the Manner of Henning Jørgensen
A mid-century modern teak chest of drawers with four deep drawers, recessed pulls, and a darker stretcher base on tapered legs. The minimalist design and warm teak veneer are consistent with Scandinavian modern craftsmanship of the 1960s. Similar examples have been attributed to Henning Jørgensen for Fredericia Møbelfabrik, a noted Danish maker of refined modernist furniture. The chest offers versatile storage and a timeless silhouette, well-suited to contemporary and vintage interiors alike.
Condition:
Fair to good condition overall. Past veneer repairs are present at the lower left corner and drawer, with additional veneer loss at the upper left corner. Surface scratches, ring marks, and scuffs to drawer fronts and edges are also visible. The drawers remain structurally sound and function smoothly. Please consult the photos for a detailed view.
Dimensions:
Approximately 30.5 inches high x 36 inches wide x 17.5 inches deep.
Shown with a life-size (6'2") Bob Ross standee for scale.
