Antique Art Nouveau Brass Figural Mirror, Lady & Floral Motif, 10" x 13.75"
An authentic antique Art Nouveau brass mirror, dating to the early 20th century. The frame is cast with exceptional detail, featuring a graceful draped female figure integrated into the design and surrounded by flowing organic lines and floral motifs — hallmarks of the Art Nouveau style. The rich brass surface has developed a natural patina, underscoring its age and character.
This substantial mirror measures 10 x 13.75 x 2 inches and weighs 5 1/2 lbs. The back retains its original red velvet lining with easel support, consistent with period construction. While the easel is now loose and the mirror will not stand freely, it remains structurally sound and highly displayable, whether mounted or carefully supported. A true period piece, this mirror offers collectors a fine example of Art Nouveau craftsmanship, far superior to later reproductions.
Condition:
Good antique condition with patina to the brass and light surface wear expected with age. The easel back is loose, and the mirror will not stand on its own.
