Large stoneware bowl by New Mexico ceramic artist Jeff Kuhns, known for his expressive high-fire pottery that blends functional design with artistic flair. This hand-thrown piece features a wide, angular rim and dynamic glazing in cobalt, slate-blue, ochre, and textured bands of red and green. At the center rests a bold abstract motif, a hallmark of Kuhns’s distinctive style. The underside bears the artist’s signature, confirming authenticity.
Kuhns, trained at the University of California–San Diego, has exhibited for decades at Worthington Gallery.
