Description

Ansel Adams Poster – The Mural Project 1941–1942, 28" x 22"

This framed Ansel Adams poster, featuring The Mural Project 1941–1942, commemorates a pivotal commission by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Adams traveled the American West during 1941–42, capturing majestic national parks, pueblo architecture, and Native American cultural sites through his masterful black-and-white photography. Though wartime halted the envisioned murals, Adams supplied 225 prints and retained the negatives, many of which were finally exhibited as murals in 2010 inside the Interior Department building. This 28" × 22" offset-lithograph print is housed in a black frame with plexiglass—an appealing and meaningful piece for both art collectors and design enthusiasts.

Condition:
In good condition overall, with light wear visible as shown in photos. Frame and plexiglass are intact, with no major damage.

Dimensions:
28" x 22" (framed)
