Description

Daryl Howard “One Single Tree Is Enough” Signed Woodcut, 2007, Ed. 31/75

Striking woodcut print by Daryl Howard (American, b. 1947), titled “One Single Tree Is Enough … to keep next to my heart.” Executed in 2007, the piece demonstrates Howard’s refined use of the Japanese woodblock tradition, depicting tree branches in layered tones of black, ochre, and crimson. The bold composition balances organic form with contemporary abstraction, creating a meditative image that reflects Howard’s deep engagement with nature and cultural symbolism.

This limited edition work is numbered 31/75, signed and dated ’07 by the artist in pencil at lower right, and bears her red seal. Elegantly presented in a beveled ebony frame with double linen matting behind glass, the print is ready for display and ideal for collectors of contemporary printmaking.

Condition

Good overall condition. The print itself is clean, with vibrant, unfaded colors. Frame shows minor touched-up chips, not distracting when displayed.
