1920s Walnut Chest of Drawers – 3 Dovetail Drawers, Original Casters
Handsome walnut chest of drawers, dating to the 1920s, constructed of solid wood with three dovetailed drawers and original shield shaped pulls. The drawers feature shaped fronts with decorative veneer patterns, including a central shield motif, and retain their early 20th century character. The piece rests on turned legs with original wood casters, making it both functional and true to its era.
Stamped on the reverse “72 Walnut Chest,” this dresser embodies classic craftsmanship and offers versatile use as a bedroom storage piece or accent cabinet. A wonderful addition for collectors of early 20th century furniture or those seeking authentic period décor.
Condition:
Good overall with scuffing, finish wear, and age-appropriate imperfections. A 1" old scorch mark is visible on the top surface. Drawers show interior staining and sit slightly askew but remain functional. Retains original casters, hardware, and warm patina.
