1920s Carryola Master Portable Gramophone – Fully Functional, Records & Needles
Presenting a 1920s Carryola Master portable wind‑up gramophone—an American-made suitcase phonograph from Milwaukee’s Carryola Co. Featuring textured black case, reinforced corners, leather handle, green felt turntable, chrome tonearm, and record‑storage compartment, it exemplifies Jazz‑Age portability.
Included are four vintage 78 RPM records (Okeh: "Gene Autry" 6684; 4 Star: “Slim Willet” 6072 and “Ben Christian” 3195; Columbia: “Al Dexter” 36898), plus 13 spare needles. Fully tested and operational—the crank winds, the platter spins, and audio plays cleanly through the original soundbox.
Condition:
Good functional condition with age-appropriate wear. The case shows scuffs, surface wear, and handle use; the green felt has spotting and fading; metal parts show minor tarnish. Records are fair but playable. Please refer to photos carefully.
Dimensions:
11 5⁄8″ × 14 7⁄8″ × 7 1⁄4″ (closed case)
