Bucherer Ladies 18K Gold Wristwatch – Swiss 17J Mechanical, c.1950s
This vintage Bucherer ladies’ wristwatch is crafted in solid 18K yellow gold (hallmarked 0.750, case no. 7518) and fitted with a finely made 17-jewel Swiss mechanical movement, signed “Bucherer.” The rectangular case measures 22.6 x 14.8 x 7.2 mm and features a textured bezel framing a classic silvered dial with raised gold-tone numerals at the quarter hours and baton markers. The dial is signed Bucherer – 17 Jewels – Swiss Made.
Dating to the mid-20th century, this timepiece reflects the elegant proportions of the 1950s–60s ladies’ cocktail watches. The movement has been tested and runs properly, making it not only a collectible but also a functional vintage watch. The watch is paired with a later Speidel USA gold-filled bracelet, adjustable from 5.5 in (closed) to 9 in (open).
A refined and collectible piece from one of Switzerland’s most respected jewelers, appealing both to vintage watch collectors and fine gold jewelry buyers.

Fully functional and tested. The movement runs smoothly, keeping consistent time. Case shows light wear and surface marks consistent with age. Dial displays some patina and minor edge aging but remains legible. Bracelet is a later gold-filled Speidel replacement and not original to the watch.
