This listing features an 1888 Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint, identified by the "O" mintmark on the reverse beneath the wreath. Designed by George T. Morgan, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with a wreath of cotton and wheat, while the reverse displays a heraldic eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch. This issue is part of the long-running Morgan Dollar series, produced from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921.
