This listing features an 1883 Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse depicts Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with agricultural motifs in her hair, designed by George T. Morgan. The reverse shows a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, surrounded by a wreath. The Philadelphia issue bears no mintmark and is a classic example of late 19th-century U.S. silver coinage.
