Description

1940s–50s Zuni Sterling Silver & Turquoise Petit Point Cuff Bracelet

A finely crafted Zuni cuff bracelet from the 1940s–50s, executed in sterling silver and set with nine natural turquoise cabochons. Each stone, averaging 7.24 mm, is hand-cut and bezel-set in the traditional petit point technique, with raised silver bead accents between each cabochon. The turquoise displays vivid blue-green hues with dark natural matrix, characteristic of mid-century Zuni lapidary work. Simple stampwork along the outer band adds subtle ornamentation, while the surface shows an authentic patina from decades of wear.

This bracelet reflects the Zuni philosophy of proportion and harmony, balancing metalwork and turquoise in a clean linear design. Though unmarked, its workmanship is consistent with early Zuni silversmith traditions developed by master artisans in the mid-20th century.
