Pair of authentic mid-century Nambe designs, including the iconic model 773 ashtray and model 594 tri-corner candle holder. Crafted in Nambe’s proprietary aluminum-based alloy, both pieces showcase the company’s modernist aesthetic and exceptional craftsmanship.
The ashtray (Model 773), dating from the 1960s, features an egg-shaped form with dual notched rests and a bold asymmetrical profile. The candle holder (Model 594), designed by Richard Thomas, presents an elegant hourglass silhouette rising from a distinctive three-cornered base. Both are marked on the underside with the Nambe name and model numbers. These designs exemplify Nambe’s reputation for timeless style and durability, making them desirable for both collectors and decorators.
Condition:
Good overall condition with scuffing and surface wear consistent with age and use. Light tarnish and polish residue remain; we will leave further polishing to the buyer.
