Art Deco Solid Wood Humidor with Copper-Lined Cabinet
Art Deco solid wood humidor, dating from the 1930s–40s, with a central copper-lined cabinet and curved brass handle, flanked by open compartments for storage. The bold proportions, stepped base, and softened edges embody the streamlined elegance of Art Deco design. The lined cabinet was intended to regulate humidity and preserve cigars or tobacco, while the adjoining sections offer versatile organization.
Unmarked, this piece reflects the craftsmanship of its era, comparable to documented smoking furniture of the period. Both practical and collectible, it serves equally well today as a humidor, a storage organizer, or a decorative accent.
Condition:
In good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. The wood surfaces show scratches, scuffing, and marks throughout, particularly along edges and dividers. The copper-toned lining and brass handle display expected abrasions and patina but remain intact. Structural integrity is strong, and overall presentation is consistent with its age and use.
