Native American Style Bone & Bead Breastplate in Shadow Box Frame
A striking Native American–style breastplate displayed in a wooden shadow box frame. Crafted with rows of long bone-like beads interspersed with brass-toned and deep red beads, the design is anchored by dark leather spacers and braided leather ties. The lower edge is adorned with aged copper discs, adding movement and a warm patina to the piece. Two matching earrings featuring red beads and copper discs are mounted alongside the breastplate for a complete presentation.
The work is set against a natural suede backing with a teal woven textile border, complementing the earthy tones of the materials. The shadow box display preserves the piece while making it suitable for decorative or collector display.
Condition:
In very good condition overall, with light natural patina on the copper discs and minor age-related wear to the suede backing. The beads and ties remain secure, and the shadow box frame shows minimal surface wear.
