Teissedre Designs Signed Wall Plaque – Faux Copper Patina, 6.25″
Handcrafted by Teissedre Designs, Inc., this framed wall plaque features a stylized Southwestern figure above a bear motif. The plaque is made of a molded composite material with a painted verdigris finish, imitating the look of aged copper. Signed Teissedre at the bottom, and presented in a custom double-matted frame with a rust and turquoise color scheme, it reflects the studio’s signature Southwestern decorative style.
Pieces from Teissedre Designs were produced in Arizona during the late 20th century, and are appreciated for their vibrant finishes and folk-art inspired motifs. Compact in scale, this is an eye-catching accent for rustic, Southwestern, or eclectic interiors.
Condition
Good overall. The plaque itself is intact with strong color. The frame and mat show light age wear. The glass is scratched, with some debris visible behind the glass. These do not greatly affect presentation but should be noted.
