Description

1930s Art Deco Burl Wood Mirrored Cocktail Cabinet / Cellarette

A 1930s Art Deco bar cabinet, crafted in burl wood veneer with a compact yet elegant form. The cabinet features a hinged lift-top and drop-down bar surface that opens to reveal a glamorous mirrored interior with etched champagne motifs, including glasses, bottles, and stars. Three mirrored panels line the bar compartment, enhancing its decorative impact, while brass hardware and embossed floral knobs add further period detail.

Below, two cabinet doors conceal a fixed 10.5-inch shelf, providing practical storage for bottles or barware. This piece represents the height of early 20th-century cocktail culture, when mirrored interiors and exotic veneers were used to evoke luxury and modernity. Both functional and highly decorative, it makes a striking centerpiece for entertaining, blending seamlessly into vintage or contemporary interiors.

Condition:

Good vintage condition overall, with age-appropriate wear. Surfaces show scratches, scuffs, and finish loss, particularly at edges and corners. The mirrored interior retains its etched decoration clearly, though some spotting and finish wear are visible. Hardware and hinges remain intact and functional. Presents well, with wear consistent with normal use.

Overall: 39 in H x 24 3/8 in W x 12 5/8 in D
