Set of 3 Huichol Beaded Turtles – Carved Wood & Glass Beads
A grouping of three Huichol (Wixárika) beaded turtles, each carved from wood and meticulously covered with colorful, hand-applied glass beads. These folk art creations showcase the Huichol people’s renowned beadwork tradition, where symbolic motifs and vivid geometric designs are carefully arranged to bring life to each form. The turtle is a recurring theme in Huichol art, often symbolizing endurance and connection to the natural world.
This trio presents three different sizes, each with unique patterning, making them ideal for display together or individually. A Campbell’s soup can is pictured for scale.
