2020 Studio Pottery Baking Dishes, Signed – Blue & Teal/Rust Glazes
Offered here is a pair of hand-thrown studio pottery baking dishes, each signed and dated by the maker on the underside. The double-handled dish features a layered blue glaze accented with earthy brown splashes, creating a painterly interior and subtle drip effects along the exterior. The second, a straight-sided round dish, displays a bold half-and-half glaze treatment in deep teal and warm rust tones with a speckled finish. Crafted from durable stoneware, both pieces have unglazed bases showing the natural clay body and clearly incised signatures—one reading “M… 20” and the other “PL 2020”—indicating they were made by two different potters in the same year.
Condition:
Good condition overall, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Glazes remain vibrant and glossy, and bases are clean and intact.
