Lloyd’s J248 AM/FM Stereo 8-Track Clock Radio
Offered here is a vintage Lloyd’s Electronics J248, Series 725A AM/FM Stereo 8-Track Electronic Clock Radio (circa mid-1970s) paired with its factory-matching 8-track tape holder—a seldom-seen accessory. The unit features a faux woodgrain top, brushed aluminum front with chrome-accented knobs, illuminated red digital clock, tone/balance/volume controls, front headphone jack, and front-loading 8-track slot.
Fully tested and operational, the set comes with twelve 8-track stereo cartridges spanning classic rock, pop, and instrumental favorites, including Pink Floyd (The Dark Side of the Moon, Ummagumma), Led Zeppelin II, Santana, Neil Diamond, and more. The period-correct holder keeps the tapes neatly stored beside the player, creating an authentic vintage audio display.
Condition:
Good condition overall. Fully functional and tested, with all controls and playback features working. Faux woodgrain finish remains clean with light wear. Tapes show age-related scuffing and label wear; The Dark Side of the Moon cartridge is noted as difficult to play.
