Description

1930s Folding Wood Table w/ Stand – Floral Lithograph Top

Vintage 1930s folding table featuring a vivid floral lithograph transfer top framed in warm-toned wood veneer. The richly detailed botanical design in gold, yellow, and coral hues contrasts beautifully against a black background, showcasing the decorative style of the early 20th century. The underside is stamped with a Feb. 18, 1930 patent date along with factory codes, indicating a patented design element—likely in the folding-leg mechanism.

Crafted from solids and veneers, the table features 1.25" square folding legs secured with original steel hardware, and includes its matching wooden storage/display stand with turned stretcher. A versatile piece, it folds flat for compact storage and serves equally well for entertaining, display, or as a period accent in vintage-inspired interiors.

Condition:
Fair. Shows scuffs, finish loss, chipped veneer, and a slightly warped top. A bit wobbly; hardware retains original patina.

Dimensions:

  • Open: 27" H × 30" W × 30" D

  • Closed (with stand): 32.5" H × 30" W × 11" D

Provenance Note:
Stamped with patent date Feb. 18, 1930—useful for pinpointing maker or mechanism if the patent number can be recovered. A promising lead for collector interest.
