Biography:
Doug and Sandra McDonald are a husband-and-wife artistic team based in Mabank, Texas, renowned for their mastery in both bronze sculpture and cast paper relief. Drawing inspiration from Native American heritage, Western traditions, and the natural world, they create works that weave narrative storytelling with fine craftsmanship. Their limited-edition cast paper pieces uniquely combine low-relief sculptural forms with delicate watercolor, while their bronze works have been commissioned for both private collectors and public memorials, including life-sized commemorative installations. The McDonalds’ dedication to cultural authenticity and technical precision has earned them a devoted following among collectors of Western and Native American art.
