Austin Productions 1983 “Jeanette” Bust by Emile Chambaud – Bronze Finish Sculpture
Jeanette is a 1983 Austin Productions cast after the original work by French artist Emile Chambaud (1859–1923), celebrated for his romantic, naturalistic sculptures. Trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, Chambaud exhibited at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts and Salon d’Automne. This work depicts “Jeanette,” his muse and later wife, in an elegant Art Nouveau style with flowing hair and finely modeled drapery.
Rendered in a bronze finish with verdigris highlights, this substantial bust rests on a black plinth base. A piece with both aesthetic and historical appeal, it makes a distinguished statement in any setting.
