Up for auction is the TEAC A-7300RX transport unit only, a professional-grade 2-track master reel-to-reel mechanism made in Japan (circa 1973–1978). This rugged transport features three high-density Permaflux heads (erase, record, playback), support for both 7½ ips and 15 ips tape speeds, and accepts up to 10½-inch NAB reels. Its precision mechanics deliver excellent performance, with wow & flutter at 0.06% (7½ ips) and 0.04% (15 ips), and a flat ±3 dB frequency response range: 30 Hz–24 kHz at 7½ ips and up to 28 kHz at 15 ips. Ideal for pairing with the matching A-7300RX electronics unit—or for parts or repair projects.
