Pair of hand-crafted Mata Ortiz seed jars by Elisa Ortiz, each featuring bold, traditional geometric motifs in black and earthy red over a natural terracotta base. The rounded, flattened forms are decorated in wraparound designs that evoke the Casas Grandes tradition while showcasing the artist’s contemporary precision. Both pieces are signed “Elisa Ortiz” on the underside and retain their original “Hecho en México” labels.
A fine example of modern Mata Ortiz pottery, this set makes a distinctive display for collectors of Southwestern or Mexican ceramics.
