Vintage Pakistani Mori Bokhara Rug – 3’ x 5’9”, Pink Field, Hand-Knotted
Hand-knotted in Pakistan in the late 20th century, this Mori weave “Bokhara” rug features the traditional Turkmen-inspired gul motif arranged in a central row across a vivid pink field. The medallions, rendered in beige, black, and soft rose, are framed by multiple intricate borders with geometric and floral elements. Finely woven at approximately 272 knots per square inch (17 x 16), the rug has a supple handle and a smooth, lustrous pile that may contain silk highlights, enhancing the visual depth.
Measuring 59 x 36.5 inches, this rug’s compact proportions make it suitable for an entryway, study, or accent placement. The Bokhara’s balanced design and distinctive palette offer both decorative charm and traditional craftsmanship.
