Vintage Cast Iron Skillets – No. 10 & Taiwan 10.5", Flat Sit, Dual Spouts
Offered is a set of two vintage cast iron skillets, both featuring double pour spouts and classic teardrop handles. The larger pan is marked “10” and measures 12 7/16 inches in diameter with a pronounced heat ring (commonly referred to as a “smoke ring”), a design often associated with mid-century American makers. The second skillet is marked “10½ Inch Skillet – Made in Taiwan,” likely dating from the 1970s–1980s export era.
Both pans sit flat and are well-suited for modern use on gas, electric, or induction cooktops. While unbranded, they remain fully functional and present a clean, classic look favored by both cast iron enthusiasts and everyday cooks. The larger No. 10 skillet’s wide surface and weight offer excellent heat retention, while the Taiwan pan is slightly lighter and ideal for daily stovetop use.
Condition:
In good condition overall, with visible signs of use including utensil marks and surface wear consistent with age. Both skillets sit flat and have no cracks or chips. Seasoning is intact but could benefit from reconditioning to restore peak performance. Please see photos for surface detail and markings.
