Jøtul Cast Iron Aebleskiver Pan #2 – Norway, 7‑Well Vintage
This vintage cast iron aebleskiver pan was made by Jøtul, a respected Norwegian manufacturer best known for its high-quality wood stoves. During the 1970s–1980s, Jøtul briefly produced cookware, making this pan a relatively rare and collectible piece. The model number “2” is cast into the underside, and the pan features a seven-well design ideal for making aebleskiver (traditional Scandinavian pancake balls) or munker. The hexagonal body includes two looped handles—one marked “JØTUL” and the other “PRODUCT OF NORWAY.”
With excellent heat retention and even distribution, this piece is both functional and display-worthy. Suitable for use on gas, electric, or wood-fired stovetops, it also appeals to collectors of Nordic kitchenware or vintage cast iron. Its design and markings reflect Jøtul’s precision casting and timeless utility.
Condition
In good vintage condition with visible signs of use, including light surface rust and patina. All seven wells are intact. The pan sits flat with no cracks, chips, or warping. Ready for restoration, seasoning, or display.
