Pair Italian Majolica Floral Relief Vases — Applied Roses
Pair of Italian majolica vases with richly colored brown and green mottled glaze and applied three-dimensional roses and foliage. The sculpted flowers are finished in soft pink and green hues, with hand-painted detailing that adds depth and texture. Each vase bears an incised mark on the underside, consistent with Italian ceramic studio work. The taller vase features a flared neck while the shorter has a rounded form, making them an attractive complementary set for display.
Condition:
Fair condition overall, with visible crazing and several chips throughout, particularly on the applied petals and leaves. Some glaze wear and small losses as shown in photos. Still retains strong decorative presence despite imperfections.
