Description

Mid-Century Carved Stone Fruits — Jadeite, Amethyst & Carnelian

A charming mid-century group of four carved hardstone fruits, including a large pale green jadeite grape cluster, hanging jadeite peapods, an amethyst peach, and a carnelian apricot. Each piece is accented with metal leaves, faux wood stems, and blue silk cord, capturing the playful realism of mid-20th century Chinese export craftsmanship. Together, they offer a delightful contrast of color and texture—from soft green to warm amber and purple tones. Unmarked, these decorative carvings are typical of the era’s popular hardstone fruit arrangements, often displayed in curio cabinets or as whimsical tabletop décor.
