Castilian Imports Hand-Painted Floral Box — 24" with Brass Handle & Feet
A beautifully hand-painted decorative box by Castilian Imports Inc., model #2850/5. Measuring a full 24 inches wide, this elongated wooden box features an ornate floral motif with scrolling foliate patterns in rich tones of rose, gold, olive, and cream. The top and sides are adorned with raised painted detailing, giving the piece a vibrant, dimensional finish. Brass-toned ball feet elevate the base, while a rope-textured brass handle adds both charm and functionality. The hinged lid opens to a lacquered black interior, ideal for storing pens, jewelry, or keepsakes. Labeled on the underside with the maker’s mark.
Condition:
Good condition overall, with some wear and surface scuffing from age and use. Notably, there is visible scuffing to the rear right corner (see photos). Hinges and handle remain intact and functional, and paintwork remains colorful and detailed.
