Description

Pair of Unity Model S6 Chrome Spotlights – GE Glass, 6.5" Vintage Automotive

This pair of Unity MFG Co. Model S6 spotlights represents a classic era of American automotive design, when chrome details and precision-engineered accessories defined both style and functionality. Produced in Chicago, USA, these spotlights were commonly mounted on police vehicles, fire trucks, and hot rods from the 1930s through the 1950s. They feature 6.5-inch GE-marked glass lenses and a sleek chrome-plated housing with fully adjustable shafts, allowing the driver or operator to control the beam direction using the handle-mounted mechanism.

Unity spotlights like these were valued for their durability, bright beam, and iconic design, making them a favorite among car enthusiasts and restoration experts. Today, they are sought after for classic car restorations, period-correct displays, and custom builds, as well as for their unique retro aesthetic.

This set measures 19 inches in total length, showcasing the original handles, brackets, and hardware. The Unity Model S6 remains one of the most recognizable spotlight designs, a piece of American motoring history with both functional and decorative appeal.
