This Vector Research VT-300 is a fully automatic, direct-drive turntable featuring a rare Stanton D72E stylus paired with a Stanton L-727E P-mount cartridge. Manufactured in the late 1970s to early 1980s by Vector Research—a California-based audio firm known for precision hi-fi components—the VT-300 showcases a clean, minimalist aesthetic and impressive reliability.
This model includes a Stanton linear-tracking plug-in connector tonearm and supports both 33 and 45 RPM playback with pitch control. Front-mounted controls provide easy access to repeat, cueing, start, and stop functions. The proprietary dual-motor Vector Research Drive system ensures accurate platter speed and low vibration, enhancing audio fidelity.
Condition:
In good condition with visible wear. The unit is fully functional and has been tested—power, lights, automation, and pitch control all perform as intended. The dust cover shows scuffs and surface scratches from prior use. Removed from a working environment. The Stanton L-727E cartridge and D72E stylus are included and operational.
