Harrison Begay Tewa Serigraph – Navajo Shepherd Scene, Framed
This vintage serigraph by noted Navajo artist Harrison Begay (H. Begay) was produced by Tewa Enterprises of Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the early 1950s. It depicts a peaceful scene of a young shepherd seated with lambs beside a small fire, rendered in Begay’s iconic style—stylized, serene, and rooted in traditional Navajo life.
The artist’s name appears printed within the image at lower right, typical of Tewa editions which were created to share Indigenous art through high-quality screenprinting. The print is presented in a double matted wood frame behind glass, retaining its original mid-century aesthetic.
An accessible and collectible work of Southwestern Native American art, ideal for display.

In good condition. The print is clean and protected under glass. The wood frame shows some light scuffs and edge wear consistent with age and use. Please see photos for further detail.
