Vintage Oak Machinist Chest – 11 Drawers, Felt-Lined
This vintage-style machinist’s chest offers organized storage in a warm oak finish with 11 drawers of various sizes, each felt-lined and fitted with galvanized steel bottoms. The top lid and removable front drawer cover (which nests neatly beneath the drawers) provide added security and usability. Constructed with tongue and groove joinery, and fitted with steel hardware in a brass finish, the chest includes a working key that secures both the lid and drawer area. The upper compartment also features a 7" x 18" felt-lined surface, ideal as a compact work area. Though not antique or from a known maker, this is a functional and versatile piece for tools, hobby items, or display.
Condition:
Fair condition overall. Fully functional, with visible wear to the wood and veneer. A 1½" crack is present on the right side, and the finish shows moderate signs of use, including damage and residue on the top surface where lettering was previously removed. Ideal for restoration or continued use as-is.
