Description

(3) Tonala Pottery & Hydrostone Crosses – Mexican & American Wall Art

A striking set of three hand-painted wall crosses, each showcasing a distinct regional style and craftsmanship. The Hydrostone cross, made in the USA, features a stepped-edge Southwestern design with vivid turquoise and coral tones. The Tonala ceramic cross, signed “A” and marked “Made in Mexico,” doubles as a holy water font and depicts a dove surrounded by floral motifs, all in traditional Talavera-style brushwork. The third is a finely textured stoneware Celtic-style cross with a cruciform center and an impressed pictorial signature on the back, likely from a studio potter. These unique pieces make a harmonious and meaningful wall display.

Condition:
All three crosses are in excellent condition with no damage noted. Surfaces are clean, with intact paint and no visible chips, cracks, or repairs.

Dimensions:

  • Hydrostone Cross: 9.5 x 6.5 x 0.75 inches
  • Tonala Cross: 7.75 x 5.75 x 2 inches
  • Stoneware Cross: 7.5 x 4.25 x 0.25 inches

Note:
All crosses are wall-ready with hanging hardware. A soup can is shown in the image for scale reference.
