Victorian Silver Plate & Cut Glass Compote – Removable Bowl, 14" Tall
An elegant Victorian-style centerpiece compote featuring a cut glass bowl seated atop an ornate silver-plated base. The pedestal is richly detailed with Rococo-style scrollwork and scrolled handles, standing on four dramatic foliate feet. The heavy cut glass bowl is removable and showcases deep geometric and fan-cut patterns with a scalloped rim. This piece combines both visual impact and fine craftsmanship, making it a stately centerpiece for formal dining or decorative display. Estimated to date from the late 19th to early 20th century, maker unmarked.
