Amora Mexican Talavera Planter Pair — Hand-Painted Floral & Sunflower
Offered is a delightful pair of hand-painted Mexican Talavera-style pottery planters, each bursting with color and folk-art charm. The larger, double-handled piece is signed “Hecho en Mexico – Amora” and features a traditional bird-in-garden motif framed by floral panels and golden yellow bands. Its rounded form and soft craquelure give it authentic vintage warmth.
The second piece—a flared rim planter—features bright sunflower blossoms in saturated tones of yellow, green, and cobalt blue. Though unmarked, it closely matches the Talavera aesthetic and complements the signed piece beautifully.
Condition:
Both in good condition with surface wear and fine glaze crazing typical of this pottery. The Amora-marked pot has a stable hairline crack (shown in photos), but remains fully intact. No major chips noted.
