Description

Holmes & Edwards Deep Silver “Woodsong” Flatware Set (73pcs) w/ Box & Docs

This 73-piece Holmes & Edwards “Woodsong” flatware set is part of the prestigious Deep Silver line by The International Silver Company, introduced in 1958. The Woodsong pattern features an elegant mid-century design with flowing lines and a stylized floral scroll at the handle tip—tasteful and versatile, ideal for both everyday dining and formal entertaining.

The set includes original documentation and comes housed in a classic, dark wood storage chest with brass-tone hardware.

Included in this set:
• (12) 8.5" butter knives
• (12) 7" dinner forks
• (8) 6.5" salad/dessert forks
• (8) 6.75" soup spoons
• (16) 6" teaspoons
• (8) 4" demitasse spoons
• (9) assorted serving pieces (including ladles, serving forks, pie server, and more)

Crafted with Holmes & Edwards' heavy silverplate construction, the Deep Silver line was marketed for its long-lasting finish and heirloom-quality durability. This complete service is ideal for collectors or those looking to elevate their table setting with timeless American design.

Condition:
Good overall with signs of use throughout. Several pieces show light surface scratches and typical tarnish, particularly among the serving utensils. We’ve left polishing to the buyer’s preference. The wooden case is structurally sound with minor cosmetic wear. Original pamphlet included.

Dimensions:
73 total pieces. Utensils range from 4 to 8.5 inches in length. Wooden box approximately 16 x 11 x 4 inches.
