Description

19.5" Kütahya Hand-Painted Ceramic Charger by Mustafa Dumanlar

A vibrant and masterfully hand-painted ceramic charger by Turkish artisan Mustafa Dumanlar, signed on the reverse and originating from the renowned pottery center of Kütahya. This striking piece showcases traditional Iznik-inspired floral motifs rendered in deep cobalt blue, vivid red, green, and white. The scalloped edges and intricate radial symmetry echo classical Ottoman tilework with modern finesse.

Crafted in Kütahya, a region with centuries-old ceramic traditions, this plate features dense foliate and palmette patterns radiating from a central rosette. The craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect the artist’s skill and the enduring heritage of Turkish decorative arts.

Condition:
In good condition overall, with visible surface wear and areas of crazing to the glaze. There are small glaze imperfections, particularly around the rim, and signs of handling consistent with age. Please refer to the final images for close-up views of the noted wear.
