Giuseppe Armani 1995 “Mother & Child” — LE 82/3000, Signed Capodimonte
This 1995 porcelain sculpture by Giuseppe Armani offers a tender portrayal of a mother and child, rendered in Armani’s expressive and flowing style. Created for Florence Sculture d’Arte and part of a limited edition of 3000, this example is hand-numbered 82/3000. The figures are elegantly posed, with the mother in a richly textured orange gown seated on a sculpted white base suggestive of movement and form.
Signed “Giuseppe Armani” on the front of the base, with stamped marks on the reverse including the Capodimonte “N”, ©1995 Florence, and original factory label affixed to the underside. The sculpture is mounted on a wood base with a burled veneer and nameplate.
An evocative collectible piece for admirers of narrative figural art and Armani’s mid-90s works.
Condition:
In fair condition. The sculpture presents well but shows some wear, including an approximately 1/8" chip on the back of the dress that has been touched up. Surface wear and minor imperfections are visible under close inspection but do not detract significantly from its display value. Please review all photos for details.
