Marguerite Fields “Little Princess” Limited Edition Print — Signed, Framed 15x12

A heartfelt limited edition print by Marguerite Fields, “Little Princess” depicts a young Native American girl seated beside a mountain lion cub, with the ghostly presence of a guardian cougar emerging from the sky above. Fields’ work often reflects her deep spiritual connection to animals and her reverence for Native American culture — themes beautifully expressed in this tender and symbolic image. This piece is signed and numbered #414 of 950 in the lower right. It is framed under glass with a wood frame and double matting, with the title inscribed on the mat. Artist biography is affixed to the verso.

About the Artist:
Marguerite Fields was born in Palo Alto, California in 1942. From a young age, she was captivated by the freedom and spirit of animals, drawing horses by age four and developing a lifelong passion for portraying the creatures of the earth. Her works are guided by instinct, spirit, and a respect for Native American traditions. “I don’t just paint animals — I become them,” she writes. Fields channels what she calls “drifting” to bring intuitive, emotional depth to her paintings, aiming to help viewers connect with the soul of the animal world.

She has lived in the Bay Area all her life and currently resides in Sunnyvale, California with her husband and two children.
