Offered here is a pair of authentic U.S. military surplus M548 20mm ammunition cans, constructed from heavy-duty steel and finished in olive drab paint. These cans are designed for durability and feature hinged lids with robust latch closures and intact rubber gaskets, ensuring airtight and watertight seals. Each can bears original military stenciling, including markings such as “USA/DOD/AYD” and lot numbers like “ORM09A 005-004 BA30,” indicating compliance with Department of Transportation regulations for hazardous materials and Department of Defense manufacture. Additional hand-written identifiers like “COLO” and “3857” emphasize their operational history.
Condition:
Both cans are in good, used condition with visible surface wear, including scratches, scuffing, and oxidation consistent with military use.
