This Hopi "Crow Bride" Kachina doll is a vibrant, hand-carved and hand-painted figure by noted artisan Larry Valentine. Crafted from a single piece of wood, the piece features traditional iconography including a richly painted feathered headdress, symbolic agricultural elements, and ceremonial attire. The figure holds a painted gourd and corn bundle, emphasizing themes of fertility and sustenance. Valentine’s signature “L.V.” is carved into the underside of the base, confirming its authentic origin. A colorful and culturally meaningful example of Hopi carving, perfect for collectors of Native American art.
