Pair of Hand-Carved Kachina Dolls – Sun & Owl, Signed Largo & Bebo
A pair of hand-carved and hand-painted Kachina dolls, including the Sun Kachina signed and dated “A. Largo ‘93” and the Owl Kachina signed by “H. Bebo.” These figures embody traditional Native American ceremonial themes and are meticulously crafted from painted wood with added fur, feathers, and leather details.
The Sun Kachina, recognized by its radiant feathered headdress and turquoise face, symbolizes life, vitality, and agricultural prosperity. The Owl Kachina features a boldly painted beak mask with wing-like extensions and intense yellow eyes—often associated with wisdom, protection, and keen sight in Pueblo cosmology.
