Description

Pair of Nambe 6172 & 6173 Tilt Alloy Candleholders — 1998

Offered is a sculptural pair of Nambe alloy candleholders, models 6172 and 6173, dated 1998. Designed with Nambe’s signature tilted form, these minimalist pieces create a dynamic display when placed together. Each holder accommodates a small pillar or votive candle and is crafted from Nambe’s proprietary, non-tarnishing metal alloy known for its silver-like luster and smooth finish.

The bases are marked “Nambe ©1998,” with model numbers 6172 and 6173. Their weight and polish make them ideal for tabletop décor, and their asymmetric height gives visual rhythm to arrangements. “Soup for scale” included in the photo humorously emphasizes their compact size.

Condition:
Good overall, with surface scratches and signs of use consistent with age. Wax residue is present inside from prior use. These pieces have not been polished—we’ll leave that to the buyer.

Dimensions:

  • Model 6172: approx. 2.5 inches high, 3.5 inches in diameter
  • Model 6173: approx. 3.5 inches high, 3.75 inches in diameter
  • Fits candles up to 3 inches in diameter
