Theo A. Koch Model 901 Barber Pole c.1930s – 6 Ft Cast Iron

This is a rare and authentic Theo A. Koch Model 901 barber pole, dating to the 1930s and preserved from a private antique collection. Standing approximately 6 feet tall, including its milk glass illuminated globe, it features the classic red, white, and blue spiral cylinder. The pole is constructed of heavy cast iron, providing substantial weight and durability. An internal bracket bears the authentic "Koch" stamp, verifying its provenance.

The wind-up crank mechanism operates as designed, rotating the cylinder as intended. While some parts may have been replaced over its lifetime, the pole maintains strong period character, with bold original-style paint and a warm glow from the classic globe.
