Ene-Art San Pascual Folk Art Wall Hanging – Hand Painted & Signed
Charming and colorful, this handmade folk art wall hanging by Ene-Art (Enedina & Arturo Vásquez) features a vibrant depiction of San Pascual, the patron saint of kitchens. Crafted in their San Antonio, Texas workshop, the piece exemplifies the couple’s signature blend of hand-carved wood, bright paints, and whimsical design. At the bottom, colorful satin ribbons adorned with milagros, sequins, beads, and religious imagery add kinetic energy and symbolic richness.
The piece includes hand-painted lettering that reads:
"San Pascual, Bendice esta cocina"
(“San Pascual, Bless this kitchen”)
and
"Te Pido Que Ruegues Por Todo El Que Comparte De Mi Amistad Y Comida"
(“I ask you to pray for all who share my friendship and food”).
Made from solid wood, it is fully hand painted and signed “Ene Art” on the verso. Also on the reverse is a printed biography of the artists, describing their folk art traditions, inspirations from Huichol designs, and national recognition. An ideal piece for collectors of religious folk art or Southwestern handmade décor.
