Description

12" Mexican Folk Art Terracotta Jar – Hand Painted, Twine Handles

This charming vintage terracotta jar from Mexico features a hand-painted floral vine motif in rich red slip over a natural clay surface. Wrapped twine accents the applied loop handles, adding texture and rustic character. The jar’s earthy palette and balanced form evoke the warmth of traditional Mexican folk pottery, blending utility with decorative appeal.

Stamped “Mexico” on the underside, this piece reflects regional craftsmanship and time-honored ceramic techniques. A wonderful accent for a farmhouse shelf, desert-inspired interior, or folk art collection.
