Nambe Copper Canyon Bowl MT0225 by Lisa Smith — 2009, 16" Diameter
This striking Copper Canyon Bowl (model MT0225) was designed by Lisa Smith for Nambe in 2009. Crafted from Nambe's signature alloy with a copper coating and clear protective finish, the bowl features a scalloped rim and wave-like verdigris patina inspired by the canyons of the American Southwest. Each piece in this collection is unique due to the subtly varying verdigris. Measuring 16 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches in height, this 8.75-quart bowl serves as both a functional serving piece and a sculptural centerpiece. The base is maker marked and inscribed with the designer's name and the year of creation. This bowl is a testament to Nambe's commitment to blending form and function in their designs.
Condition:
In good condition with minor scuffs and visible signs of use along the outer top rim, consistent with age and gentle use. The copper finish remains vibrant, and the verdigris patina adds to its unique character. Please refer to photos for a detailed view of the condition.
