Antonius Stradivarius Violin, Czecho-Slovakia, Aubert Bridge, 2 Cases
This is a vintage Antonius Stradivarius copy violin, marked “Made in Czecho-Slovakia”, dating to the early to mid-20th century when Czech workshops produced quality student instruments. It retains a warm reddish-brown finish with classic Stradivari body styling. Three strings are installed (originally four), and the bridge is a quality Aubert Made in France replacement. This violin comes with its original wood coffin-style case, which shows age and has a broken hinge and missing felt, plus a more recent padded case by Alfred Freistat with moderate wear, scratches, and chips. This instrument is ideal for restoration, display, or as an educational example of historical European violin craftsmanship. Please review photos for condition details and bid with confidence!
Condition:
In good vintage condition overall with visible surface wear, scuffing, and finish loss consistent with age. Three strings currently installed; one string is missing. Aubert bridge intact. Alfred Freistat case has moderate exterior wear, scratches, and chips. Original wood case shows moderate wear, broken hinge, and missing interior felt.

Length: ~23 inches (body ~14 inches).
